Higher Learning Commission Accreditation
UAMS Site Visit Announcement
On April 17–18, 2017, the Higher Learning Commission will conduct a comprehensive evaluation site visit for the ongoing accreditation of UAMS. Site visitors from peer universities will conduct a series of meetings with UAMS faculty, staff, students and administrators.
All UAMS faculty, staff and students are invited to attend three open forum discussions on the major criteria of accreditation: These include Criteria 1: Mission, Criteria 2: Integrity: Ethical and Responsible Conduct, Criteria 3: Teaching and Learning: Quality, Resources and Support, Criteria 4: Teaching and Learning: Evaluation and Improvement, and Criteria 5: Resources, Planning and Institutional Effectiveness.
Students are invited to participate in a Focused Topic Event on April 17th on a variety of student issues.
