The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is a member of and accredited by the The Higher Learning Commission. The baccalaureate program of the College of Nursing is approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. The baccalaureate degree in nursing, master’s degree in nursing science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and post-graduate APRN certificate programs at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Nursing are accredited by the  Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
